Now, this is an awesome book for a teenager thinking of unschooling. Really a great read for anyone older than middle school.

Great for opening your eyes to the true variety of experience beyond traditional schooling. However, the focus is entirely on "unschooling" - I would have liked to see more on alternative educational programs, vocational, etc.

This book changed my life. Even if you already graduated school, or can't quit ( I tried and changed my mind), it is a great way to challenge your ideas about education and how to live. Don't let the radical sounding title put you off from reading this fabulous testament to real learning and living! For everyone--kids, teens, parents, adults, old bachelors!
