This is a well thought out and written spy novel. It isn't about the action scenes, it is about the behind the scenes intelligence and conspiracy theories. If you like intellectual thrillers more than the action ones, then this is you book.

Though the story seems likely to appeal, the narrative is too herky-jerky, with characters not fully fleshed out to where one cares about them, and no real logic or explanation given, or apparent, regarding how the story moves forward. I stopped reading it over half-way in, but before the end.
