Excellent reading of Escobar's novel, written from diary notes of Henryk Goldsmit, a Jewish doctor and commonly known as Janusz Korczak. His attempt along with other Jewish leaders of rescuing young Jewish children who arrived at Dom Sierot, a Jewish orphanage. A harrowing novel written relating to the defense of Dr. Korczak, and his desire of preventing young Jewish children from meeting their deaths at concentration camps. The novel is written from the diary notes of a real-life hero of the Holocaust during World War II. A devastating novel you won't forget.
