It was a ghost story set in an old Manor on a farm in England. Very rich and kinda spooky. I enjoyed it very much. The main character is a teenage girl and she is very interesting and funny.

This book is well worth the read, even though it is a little slow in parts. It will grasp you and keep your mind wondering what's going to happen next. Good triumphs over evil, but I do not like the ending. That's why it only gets 4 and a half. I would recommend this book for a truly good ghostly romance.

Lovely, lovely story. Takes a little while to get going for those accustomed to nonstop action scenes. Beautiful mentions of the old folk superstitions, and not a bad portrayal of an unhappy 13 year old, told by her slightly older self. Tragical romance, a terrifying villain, and a satisfying conclusion.
