As I said in the title, it is an old fashioned yet refreshing. It reads as something out of the 50's, yet the moral of the story applies today. I enjoyed reading this book, it reminded me of the Tammy movies, which are based on Mrs. Sumner's books. It is a light-hearted entertaining easy book to read and it is refreshing because it does have a moral to the story. Give it a chance you might like it!
