This is obviously not a typical book on a subject you are unfamiliar with. I can only describe the writing as "stream of consciousness." But I figured, "What the hell! I'll give it a chance and maybe learn something."
What I discovered, as I read it with an open mind and listened to what the extraterrestrials were saying, especially in their references to our society, was that the author was making it all up as she went along.
So I soon starting skimming the book looking for something interesting, and not finding anything, gave up and trashed the book.
