This book was full of wit and humor and is a must read for anyone who gets frustrated with people at times. Lynne Truss puts everyday complaints in down-to-earth language, and it will be wonderful when the world begins to adopt her sentiments!

Ms Truss is a British writer, radio personality and has written this book due to the absolute rudeness of many people today. It is quite funny and she makes so many points it does make us want to stay home and bold the door. Great book for 'tweens and teens. Humor and an actual explanation why we don't like whateverrrrrr.

A humorous look at rudeness. It's a quick, enjoyable read. It isn't groundbreaking or even enlightening, but made me feel better about saying, "People really ARE rude!"

A little scrambled/fragmented, but overall a fun book. If you like Judith Martin, you'll probably like Lynne Truss.

A cute book, but not nearly as funny or insightful as "Eats, Shoots and Leaves" (maybe that's just my inner grammar nerd talking). Definitely geared more toward a British audience.

Very funny author--subject is putting up with antisocial behavior and suffering in silence.

This book is fun! However, about halfway through it gets too repetitive and I lost interest. One of those anecdotal books that you get for Christmas.

Really enjoyed it, but as punctuation in also my pet peeve, I enjoyed it a tad less than Eats, Shoots & Leaves. Truss is a wonderful writer who is fun to read and this book really makes you stop to consider some things, surprisingly your own actions rather than the actions of others.

Trite, judgemental, rude in a funny way.

Lynne Truss is my hero; this book, like her others, is a dead on summation of our world today. I laughed until I snorted. A wonderful read; I highly recommend it!

Love this book. It has a few big words but they are appropritly used, and placed in the book. It is very informative with a slight twist of humor. Wonderful wonderful book.

I liked the message(s) she was trying to get across, what she had to say and share, I just didn't like the way she wrote it! I don't like her 'style' of writing.

The book is by an Englishwoman and it reflects her perspective of the condition of English manners. She considers "six good reasons" why society is much less mannerful today than in days gone by.

Lynn Truss gets more attention than she deserves. But, reading the parts about lousy customer service can be very affirming.
