Pip and Squeak are brothers and mice. They live in the same house, but at different ends. One is a painter and one is a singer. They throw a party in the house at the same time, but everything goes wrong. By working together, they save the party.

Why I recommend it: It's a good lesson in siblings can be very different and not like each other, but work together when they need to. The illustrations are very inventive. Their house is made out of a shoebox, a canister of tinker toys, two clay-doh boxes, and books.
