Really enjoyed this one. Terry Kay's style is captivating, his characters endearing. I agree with author Pat Conroy - "Terry has never created a awoman he loves more than Lottie. TAKING LOTTIE HOME is his best book." (from back cover)

You'll love Lottie. Foster will marry her and father her son. Ben will escort her home. And Lottie will change the lives of everyone she meets, from the day she runs away until she finally finds the place where she belongs.

Once I discovered Terry Kay, I've read everything I can get my hands on. This book was no exception. Highly recommended.

This story grabs you from the beginning as you know Lottie will be involved in the lives of the two ex-baseball players but you don't know until later in the book. It is a story of simpler times and honorable characters.
