Again, I read this book within a couple of hours of starting it. I admit that I finished about 2AM. I was hoping that I would read an introduction that let us know another book in this series would be forthcoming...alas, no reference to such.
This sequel to "Wired" is equally intense and filled with terror. The story line is very believeable. We only need use a bit of imagination to relate the current year 2012 technology being used by governments of the world in their efforts to control "we the citizens of today" with the technology described in the novel.
The storyline is supported with references from the Bible, comparing the prophecies of the Bible with the events the author's characters experience.
I found these references to be very helpful...putting a modern interpretation to events described in Revelations and elsewhere in the Bible. The references allow the book to be read on two levels...either as pure Christian fiction or as an novelized interpretation of the End Times predicted in The Book of Revelations and earlier in the writings of some of the Hebrew prophets in the Hebrew Bible(Old Testament).
