Most grad students are thrust into teaching freshman comp without much training. This book aims to provide some basic overviews and info about the comp world, and specifically the role of the grad assistant within that world. Unlike comp theory books that assume an intimate knowledge of the field, this text is directed at those who are teaching comp for the first time.
