Once again this year, The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster requested that the holiday display on the West Chester (PA) County Courthouse lawn include a tree representing their (satirical) faith.  And once again, the county commissioners quashed the request.

And there won't be any "Tree of Knowledge" included either, to the disappointment of the Free Thought Society of Greater Philadelphia, an atheist group.

I like the Term 'Church of the Flying Spagghetti Monster', but who the heck is that church?  I love Spagghetti, can I join?

Thank you Jennifer, I just learned something new.

But I was shocked at the outpour of hate-mail on the website.

Obviously a lot of folks are just way too serious about religion and don't get the humor in that 'Church'.

Oh well, there is a reason I have a 'coexist' sticker on my car.

I love the coexist sticker! I've been meaning to get one for my car. I saw the FSM website - awesome! Best satire ever! It reminds me of John Stewart & Stephen Colbert creating their own Super PAC.
