Historical novel of Myles Morgan, commoner, who through a twist of fate is reunited with the father he never knew, who is a lord and nobleman. He is thrown into the dizzying life at court, the confusing intrigues of love and the struggle between King Henry VIII and those seeking to bring the Bible to Englishmen in their own language.

I read all of the books in the Wakefield Dynasty series, and this was by far my favorite. I didn't think I'd enjoy a book that whose setting was so long ago (1500's). But Gilbert Morris made the story come alive, and I loved it!
Very good book if you like Christian historical fiction. It is suitable from about age 12 and up.

This is a good book about noblemen, King Henry VIII and William Tyndale in mid 1500's in England. The book contains 2 books and the second is The Winds of God. It is hardback and I cannot find the correct ISBN number. This is a very good story and it has 2 other books in the series.
