I love all of his Xanth books. They're innocent but fun.
"Good Magician, I have come to ask a Question."
He Grimaced, "I prefer not to Answer it. Please depart."
Cynthia Centaur has a simple Question for the Good Magician. But Humphrey refuses to answer it, even after she defeats three extra-difficult Challenges, meant to discourage her. However, Cynthia is persistent and demands her Answer.
That Answer gets the young filly involved in a mission that could be the most important in the history of the magical land of Xanth--a rescue mission to save the Demon Earth. She will have to recruit five others to assist in this adventure, which will require all of the Powers of Xanth, as well as that of several of the Counsel of Demons, and the Swell Foop--a weapon so powerful that even the Magician of Knowledge doesn't know where to find it!
As always, this twenty-fifth Xanth novel is filled to the brim with puns. But, when it comes down to the important stuff, it's all action and adventure. A very enjoyable read.
Oh--there may be a wedding in this one...if everyone survives. :o)

This is another book in the long running Xanth series. Full of puns and running gags, and as much fun as the previous books in the series. Don't start the series with THIS one, though, much of the action is linked to previous stories in the series.
