Great book. I loved every character in this book, even the drunk one. I seriously didn't know who to root for until the end. Great job by Matthews and I will be looking for her books again in the future.

Great book. Not terribly hokey and though the main character is english it sets place in the US so the flow isn't constantly interrupted by overseas slang.

After Sadie loses her high-paying, high-powered London job, she meets Gil McGann, a Hollywood producer, while handing out leaflets at a book fair. He asks her out and they spend the night together talking, and in the morning they're starry-eyed. Gil sends her a plane ticket to Los Angeles, but it seems that he has a not-quite ex-wife, Gina, who continues to run to Gil for every imagined crisis. Despite their best intentions, every date Sadie and Gil have turns out wrong. Gil wants to take care of Sadie, too, but she finds herself a job, a roommate, and new friends, including Tavis Jones. He's hot, fun, and always knows just what Sadie needs. Sadie loves both Gil and Tavis. Will Sadie choose one? Will she try to make a go of it in sunny L.A. or fly back to rainy London?

This book is in my top 3 favorite books that I have read so far. I love Carole Mattews and this is my favorite book by her. It is almost hard for me to part with this one. I have read it twice and still can't get enough of it. I promise you that you won't be disappointed with this book if you are looking for a good chick-lit book. It has tons of laughs, plenty of romantic drama twists and you'll get a few stomach butterflies as you watch the story unfold!
