This is wonderful read! It's David's anecdotes about living in Paris, interspersed with recipes. His observations are funny and endearing. I look forward to trying out the recipes. They're not always what you would expect. I was suprised to find recipes for chicken mole and carnitas, but I dying to try them. Yummmm.... He reminds me a lot of Anthony Bourdain, with his snarky comments. I enjoyed it thoroughly and would highly recommend it.

This book is great! David's observations of life in Paris, and his wonderful recipes make for very entertaining reading. I finished the book just before spending two months in Paris, and found myself referring to it again and again, as my experiences reminded me of something he'd mentioned that turned out to be right on the mark. Even if you never get to Paris, you can enjoy what he has to say about it, and try his fantastic recipes. I recommend this book wholeheartedly.
