This is the first book in the series that I have read, but it will not be the last! Set in a small town with the main characters being a Pastor, Ed, his wife, Aggie, and their two children Deena and Teddy. You will fall in love with this family from page one. Add in Aggies quirky sisters, their mom and a huge surprise for Christmas and you have one really great cozy mystery. Emilie Richards writes a well plotted mystery that is funny, free from any serious profanity and graphic sex scenes. Add one more to my cozy mysteries list! Great Book!

I absolutely LOVED this second book in the Ministry is Murder series! I didn't care so much for the first one, as I felt Aggie was just too perfect in every way -- but that is not the case in this one. I am eagerly awaiting the third book, now! GREAT BOOK!

I didn't like it quite as much as the first one, but that's often true with sequels. Interesting enough that I'd certainly continue reading the series though.
I love the dry humor. Well done all around. Excellent cozy mystery.

I have fallen in love with this author. She rights a great who dun it with the comedic adventures of family and Christian community thrown in. It is not so much a thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat, but an easy read with lots of laughs as well.

I absoutely loved this 2nd book in the series though I would've liked more interaction between Aggie and Ed. I did guess who did the murder pretty much right away but she tied it up nicely and i'm looking forward to reading the next in the series-Beware False Profits. =)
Nice cozy to relax with; even better than first book.

Emilie Richards captures small town church life perfectly in this mystery series.
Book 2 of the Ministry is Murder series. Aggie's mom has invited their former foster sister to their Christmas reunion. When Ginger - a potential candidate for Sodiopaths Anonymous - turns up dead Aggie's sister is the logical suspect. Aggie leaps into action to find the murderer and get her sister off the hook.
