Abby really wants a baby but after years of failed infertility treatments and adoptions that have fallen through, it seems like motherhood is not in her future. That is, until her personal assistant Monica makes a generous offer that will make all of Abby's dreams come true. Or all of her nightmares. Because it turns out Monica isn't who she says she is. The woman now carrying Abby's child has dark, twisted secrets. And she will stop at nothing to get what she wants. This was a fun and fast-paced entertaining read that had twists and turns at every corner of the book. It kept me reading to the very surprise ending. Freida McFadden is a great writer of psychological suspense and if you like suspense with your thrillers than you will love this book!

I really enjoyed this book. It is totally over the top but that is what makes it so fun.

I love McFadden's writing style. Her books are always page turners for me. This one kept me turning pages as well. I did get annoyed with the protagonist for awhile because she didn't seem to consider some blatantly obvious occurrences as anything but her own mistakes. However this still had the usual surprises and twists. This is probably my least favorite of McFadden's books so far but it is still good.
