I love the Herriard family, and I'm so glad the author decided to write a third book about them. They're all excellent reads. Lucian and Sara were a great couple. The heroine was raised in India, and is unconventional and independent, but in a believable way for the 19th century. It was great fun to see her parents again, 20 some years after "Forbidden Jewel of India".
