It took a while to get used to the lingo in this fictional dystopia. The story was absorbing and eerily current. I enjoyed the narrative and use of multiple writing styles to highlight the different characters personalities. It's not quite what I expected when I picked up the book, but thoroughly enjoyable.

A self-absorbed older man becomes obsessed with a young, self-absorbed woman in this futuristic novel. I don't recommend it if you are looking for a love story. I stuck with it thinking that it would get better, but it never did. Highly disappointing for a book I selected from a "100 books you must read" list.
