A well known restaurateur is arrested for the murder of his wife. Elvis Cole is hired by a very prominent attorney to help prove the man's innocence. This involves problems with the attorney who hired him as Cole tries to chase down leads and involves a policewoman accused of falsifying evidence.
I have read all of Crais's Elvis Cole novels. This is one of the best of the lot.
P.I.Elvis Cole is hired to find proof that Detective Angela Rossi tampered with evidence. As he works his way through a tangle of witnesses he begins to suspect that it's not the police who are behind the setup. Good book
Part of the Elvis Cole series. Funny and smart.
Another in Robert Crais popular Elvis Cole, the World's Greatest Detective, series. Cole, his friend Joe Pike, are hired by a prominent attorney to defend a Hollywood producer accused of murdering his wife. 'Hip, funny and thought provoking.' Also fast paced and well written - Crais never disappoints.
I enjoyed this one a lot!! well written to keep you interested all the way and you don't realize how many pages have gone by until you just have to take a break and then you come right back to it!!
Well Done!!
Well Done!!
I just finished Sunset Express and have only two books left in the Elvis Cole/Joe Pike series of mysteries. Sunset Express had some different twists and when I thought it was over, it wasn't!
I am glad to highly recommend this book.

An Elvis Cole Novel. Elivs is back in his own turf in LA, and embroiled in a high profile murder case. A wealthy restuarateur is accused of murdering his wife, and his hot-shot defense lawyer hires Elvis to find proof that police detective Angela Rossi fooled around with the evidence.
Love reading his books.
I like the detective character but plot not very exciting.
