Many photos, mostly show biz but there are a few of her family, plus index. She offers a good explanation of how she was able to break in and explains well how Arthur Godfrey helped her and many others when they won the opportunity to appear on his 'talent show' broadcast. The trick was that the 'keepers' would be invited back several times, thus helping them build a career.
I remember my mom listening to Mr. Godfrey on the radio before I entered school and I even happened to hear one of his last broadcasts on the radio when he was down to a fifteen minute show in the 1970s.
