Elizabeth Whittaker leads a charmed life. Married to a man who is still mad about her. Her daughter has just gone off to college. Every day is great for her.
Then things go wrong for her.The onset of her symptoms are sudden. She is no longer in commande of her own body. Elizabeth has multiple sclerosis...incurable.Going on a journey she would never have chosen, she now faces tough physical, mental and spiritual challanges. When her search for relief creates a moral dilemma. The choice she makes threatens everthing she hold dear.
It is her priest that tells her about sundogs, the halos around the sun that announces a change in the weather and serves as a sign of hope. The image of the sungod helps Elizabeth endure, and finally find moments of grace and joy...from a merciful God who never fails.

Although I had never heard of this author a friend told me about this book so had to read it. It was an enjoyable book and learned a lot about a disease I knew little about. Good book!
