The attempt to cram sarcastic wittiness into every single line was just too much. Some things made me chuckle, but there was just something inauthentic about every line being something funny.

This was the first contemporary book I've read of hers and I greatly enjoyed it. I thought she developed her characters well and her descriptions of Seaside were vivid and inviting. I recommend this book.
