Polly, Huckle and Neil the Puffin are back in the 2nd book of the Little Beach Street Bakery series. New characters abound as well as old favorites. When the bakeries that Polly has worked so hard to bring back fall into new owner's hands, things change drastically - causing Polly to reconsider some of the choices she has made.

Another cute story by Jenny Colgan, a new favorite British author. I feel like I've been taken away to jolly old England just listening to how she writes. Her characters are always so funny,each with their problems,and this one had an especially adorable character named Neil, who was going through so many life changes throughout the whole story. The author herself wrote me back when I told her I couldn't find her titles in te library. The titles in the states are different tan tey are overseas, in case you are looking! She is very sweet,and when I sent her a photo of me reading her book on vacation, she wrote back to have a great holiday! There's a whole series of books that take place in this seaside village!
