I really enjoyed the characters. I was a bit annoyed at Rachel and her speeding; seriously after one ticket wouldn't you be more careful?! (and we are talking 20 over, not 5 over)
Another solid offering in the Destiny series. Although not quite as engaging as the first book, this was still a satisfying read.
When Rachel Farris returns to her hometown of Destiny, Ohio, she has a mission: Get Mike Romo out of her family's apple orchard and out of their lives. The Farris's and the Romo's have been feuding for generations. Rachel wants to make sure that Mike isn't taking advantage of her grandmother. But Mike, who happens to be the law in Destiny, believes the Farris's stole the orchard from his grandfather and he wants to get it back for his family. However, neither Mike nor Rachel anticipate the electricity that heats things up whenever they're together.
This was a good story, but a bit repetitious in places. No surprises with the plot. My rating: 4 Stars.
