This is the second book of Pamela Satran's that I've read & I really enjoyed it. A movie star ends up moving back to her hometown in New Jersey & reconnecting with her childhood friend. The two of them get involved with local politics. The two women both learn things about themselves that they never realized.

I really liked this book. The book I read before it, from another author, was a snoozer in the middle. It was fun to get totally into this novel. I have not read any books from Pamela Redmond Satran before. I will certainly be trying out some of her other material.
