I believe that this book is great to anyone interested in politics.

This book can be enjoyed by liberals and conservatives alike. With Michael Moore considered to be from the extreme left, it is an eye-opening experience into the ideology that has taken over the once effective Democrat Party.

It only gets worse, Mike. This apparently came out around August, 2001, so he doesn't write as much about terrorism as he does later. I'd agree with Alexandra, below, his themes come off better in a movie than in a book, this was too unfocussed and ranting for me.

Michael Moore's mission is to ruffle as many feathers as possible, and with his latest manifesto, Stupid White Men, he's done an admirable job. Moore, known as both a filmmaker and a bestselling author, takes on our current and former presidents, corporate America, and the judicial system in this irreverently witty, no-holds-barred look at the state of the nation.

Although he has some intriguing ideas along with a sense of humor, he's no writer. His movies are much better.

Well I would suggest you be super liberal and a Michael Moore fan to truely enjoy this book. I was nodding my head while cracking up the whole time. A politically minded book that will make you laugh. It wasn't long and a quick read but oh so true. With this book I became a huge Michael Moore fan and have loved him every since. I'm still waiting to get my hands on the rest of his books.

(From the cover) In the winter of 2002, Stupid White Men took America - and the world - by storm. Tired and skeptical of George W. Bush's high approval ratings, frightened by the implications of the Enron scandal - and generally just looking for a voice of honest dissent in the thick atmosphere of jingoism that followed 9/11 - book buyers from from coat to coast swiftly embraced Michael Moore's in-your-face anti-Bush-era manifesto, making it one of the best-selling nonfiction books of the past decade. After twenty years of America's two political parties morphing together and moving further and further to the Right, and with corporate power at an all-time high, Stupid White Men expressed the anger and will of an American public searching for a way to strike back. And strike back they did, as the liberal majority found its voice and charged forward - thanks in part to Stupid White Men kicking open the doors.

With an unerring eye for greed, hypocrisy, and corruption, Michael Moore takes on the whole ugly mess of America at the dawn of the twenty-first century. Whether he's demanding Un.N. action to overthrow the Bush Family Junta or wondering why airline pilots qualify for food stamps, Stupid White Men is a pitch-perfect skewering of our culture of Malfeasance and Mediocrity.

michael moore moving from his area of skill - corporate plunder and misdoings - into a broader political context. an ok and funny book, but you can tell he's losing it.

He seems to have gained weight since the front and back cover pictures were taken.

Michael Moore's screed against the conservative Republicans. He takes on such subjects as lack of media freedom, stolen elections, foreign relations, and the "liberal agenda."
