I had a difficulat time with the audio version of this book, and finally gave up at the end of the 4th disc. I think that the problem was that there were simply too many characters. Because the names are Japanese, I had a hard time keeping them all straight without the visual aid of reading the names in print. I was also not drawn into the story and could not connect with any of the characters. I doubt that I will pick up this book in print to finish, it was just not that interesting.
