very emotional, a tear jerker
back cover:
During Desert Storm, Rosie Armstrong's husband went off to war. He didn't return. She was told that he was missing in action - and presumed dead.
For years, she couldn't accept that Nick was dead, couldn't believe it. But she got on with her life because she had to - for her child's sake. Eventually she met another man and allowed herself to fall in love with him. She's finally said yes to Zach's proposal of marriage ...
And then there's a phone call. "Your husband's not dead." He was a prisoner of war all those years, kept hidden in Iraqi bunkers.
He's coming home. A stranger.
How would you feel? What would you do?
Share Rosie Armstrong's story. And the stories of her husband, Nick, her son - and her fiance. Experience the emotion.

Nick is the returning husband after years in captivity. Rosie is the wife that thought he was dead and finally moved on with her life at her families urging. Zach is the boyfriend that is caught in the situation. I liked this book but it left me wishing Nick the returning husband would take a little more initiative in the relationship. He seems to feel he has to let her go which bothered me. Zach fights for her with the intensity that I wish Nick had used and Rosie seemed a little too wishy washy although I realize she is dealing with alot of emotions and changes.
Having said that I liked the book alot and will keep it to read again.
