Good writing, but I wanted more at the end. Searles tied up the loose ends, yet the resolution felt lacking. I loved the surprise information arriving in the middle of the book that explains things.

This was a really good book. Completely surprised me - not at all what I thought it was going to be. It had a dark twist that I wasn't expecting!

This book has stayed with me for eight years! That is the mark of a truly good novel, when the storyline makes such an impression on you that you feel you were THERE. The author, at the time that he wrote the novel, is "the senior books and articles editor of Cosmopolitan magazine. I highly recommend this unusual book.
