My son loved this book and was so proud of being able to read it since it got a little more advanced as the stories went along in order to give the reader a base and build on those skills. Very good book.

WONDERFUL book. I love the old pictures!! Little boys that have short hair, girls in dresses, and both being kind to the other and finding fun in the simple things in life. I love these books, and especially enjoying the pictures. A much safer, kinder, time. I remember reading them as a child and I loved them then. They teach children to read (through much repetition) and give them a great feeling of accomplishment. Children NEED that!

My husband and I learned to read from Dick and Jane books in the 70's. This Treasury has been the perfect primer for my daughter to learn to read. She just turned 4 and loves the pictures and the simple storylines. I will save this Treasury for her to share with her children.

my grand daughter just loves this book. She is two years old and loves for anyone to read her this book. Her favorite. Great book, I even remember it too!

What a great book. It's exactly what I remember as a child, but much better condition. My 4 year old grand daughter loves it.
