It took me several chapters to figure out what the author was doing, but I did finally come to appreciate the way he pulled his characters together. I give this book a 3-stars for a so-so rating. I guess I didn't appreciate the fictionalized explanation of how Alzheimer's came to be, but I did love the characters in the actual story.
