A very good story about coming from an abusive home and recovering from it to go on and have a good life. Despite having lived with a mother with mental illness. Then falling into drug abuse, and a bad marriage.
What an awesome book! I could hardly put it down. As a child, Stormie experiences physical and emotional abuse from her mentally ill mother, which led to Stormie making poor choices in her young adulthood. As an adult she experiences healing and forgiveness through Jesus Christ.
