A really good read. Takes the feelings of a foster parent who takes on a learning disabled child with a violent streak and ends up the sole caretaker. Goes into the child's adulthood when he realizes that he cannot care for the child and has to search for an answer.

Clark is a foster parent, raising a Native American son who has fetal alcohol syndrome. As he battles to help this child, he faces all kinds of adversity and opposition, but he will not abandon Wade as his own father did to him. A very interesting story from a little heard voice- a foster father. Will hold your attention to the end.
