This book was the first book I purchased as a newly diagnosed diabetic. That was over a year ago. Since then, with the help of this book and my health care team, I've brought my blood sugars down from the 200s to the 80s-90s. I truly feel like a brand new person! Interestingly enough, even my mother, who has been diabetic for several decades now, found this book incredibly useful and even learned some new information from it! This is a great book and I highly recommend it to anyone who deals with diabetes of is a caregiver for someone with this condition.
