Wow! this one was hard to put down!
I don't like books written in the format of then/now, past/present, etc. so when I started this one I almost just closed it to return it to the library but I didn't---
Written in the format of then/now it changes every other chapter so at chapter 6 I just started the 'then' chapters to get the story of what happened to the sisters, then I went back to chapter 6 and read the 'now' chapters of how they were coping and it made a better story for me
Part 2 is a little different with how Jensen wrote the then/now chapters (and the chapters are short) and I didn't have to skip around
I'd label this one as one of the best I've read in along time and would recommend it to anyone

Twenty years ago The Sinclair Sisters were taken. But what came after their return was far worse. Can a family ever recover, especially when not everyone is telling the truth? Leah's perfect marriage isn't what it seems but the biggest lie of all is that she's learned to live with what happened all those years ago. Marie drinks a bit too much to help her forget. And Carly has never forgiven herself for not keeping them safe. This is a clever, twisted, fast-paced tale of characters with plenty of secrets. It is a suspenseful, psychological thriller which is full of high emotion which kept the pages turning for me. If you love books with surprise endings, then you will love this one! Thanks to HQ and NetGalley for a free copy for an honest review.
