A bit better than the first, but not by much. I do like the main characters though and the way they interact with one another. Especially Pauline and Jagger! There is enough humor to make this a light read, but there is still something missing. The book never really grabbed me the way a lot of the cozies do. It was an improvement over the first one which was a bit lackluster, but still not as good as it could be.

Another great book in the style of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum.
Burnt out nurse Pauline working now as a insurance fraud investigator has gone undercover to help bust a illegal Viagra ring. Distracted by her fantasies about her handsome co-worker Nick...not to mention her dangerously sexy fellow investigator Jagger. However, there's nothing like a few more suspicious deaths to get a girl's mind back on the job at hand.

Not quite as good as Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum; but along the same order and a good mystery to boot.

I liked this light mystery. It is the type of book you can curl up with and read in one sitting.

Loved this book. It made me laugh.
This book came out last week and it is the second book in the series of the Pauline Sokol mysteries, it was even better than the first if that's possible! I believe the third one in the series comes out in late september! Can't wait!
Love all her books!
Once a nurse, now a medical insurance fraud investigator, Pauline goes undercover in a local senior's center and discovers murder
Written in the Evanovitch style - fun to read. Pauline Sokol, now a medical insurance fraud investigator is going undercover in a local senior's center wher prescriptions are still being filled for a patient who just happens to be dead. A little behind the scenes snooping reveals the hard facts, the recently deceased oldster was up to his jowls in an illegal Viagra ring. Unfortunately Pauline keeps getting distracted by her own fantasies about her handsome co-worker Nick ... not to mention her dangerously sexy fellow investigator Jagger. Does the next prescription for murder have Pauline's name on it?
This funny and charming second book in our promising new mass market mystery series features Pauline Sokol, a sassy 30something exnurse turned medical insurance fraud investigator.
Pauline Sokol has just escaped serious bodily harm during her first investigation, when her second case file is literally thrown into her lap. And this one seems to be a dooziewith one suspect already dead! Pauline's sleuthing leads her to the Senior Citizen's Clinic, where she realizes that her deceased suspect was part of an illegal Viagra ring! Pauline is soon going undercover as a senior hot mama and chasing down leads at the local bingo parlor.
Between fending off some wrinkled "over70" admirers, and helping the sexy investigator Jagger with his own case at the Senior Clinic, Pauline is again faced with a murderer on the loose! Adding to her panic is the reality that her attraction to Jagger is intensifying, despite the fact that the handsome and reliable Nick is courting her. With the help of her hilarious family and friends, Pauline must juggle an undercover nursing gig, two sexy leading men, a senior alterego, and a gaggle of geriatric suspectsall before she becomes the next victim!
This was such a wonderful, cute, comical funny cozy mystery Pauline and her family are just a perfect cast and then her being a nurse who even having a masters degree in nursing and is now doing insurance fraud investigation the problems she runs into are so believable and yet funny. Her co-workers and roommates just make the story a perfect read! A very enjoyable series!
