"When Kate Jasper reluctantly agrees to attend a writer's critique group, she finds herself trapped in a room full of squabbling egos- and pursued by Slade Skinner, a self-absored author who's intent on "collaborating" with every female in the group.
But when Skinner is found dead- and no one seems to mind- Kate has to use her creative skills to get background sto=ry on the group's members. Especilly since the killer could be planning a sequel..."
I loved this book, it's a great "cozy" mystery novel. All the characters are drawn really well and with great humor, the scenes where Kate visits them individually is a lot of fun. A quick, funny read with a nice little mystery!

Kate Jasper is warm, witty and appealing. In this book, the 6th of the series, Kate reluctantly agrees to attend a writers' critique group and finds herself trapped in a room full of squabbling egos - and pursued by Slade Skinner, a self-absorbed author who is intent on "collaborating" with every female in the group. But when Skinner is found dead - and no one seems to mind - Kate has to use her creative skills to get the background story on the group's members. Especially since the kiler could be planning a sequel.
