Daniel Schorr recalls his many years in journalism in this interesting memoir. The best parts are his stories about trying to get his reports through the censors when he was working in the Soviet Union. A close second is his work on Watergate and his testimony before the House Ethics Committee. This memoir really gives the reader a feeling of the challenges that many reporters face, and Schorr's personable writing style really holds the reader's interest. Definitely worth a read, particularly if you're interested in the Cold War era.
