I had mixed feelings about this book. Its did cover a very real and personal family experience from a Mothers point of veiw and how heart breaking it is to be a parent of an addict. I give her alot of credit to share everything and be so open about a topic that is often kept hush or behind doors due to the stigma that is attached to drug abuse. My only issue with the book was it was hard to stay interested. I usually read a book within days and this one took forever! I felt like I had to force myself to finish every chapter.
There are some very important and close to home feeling shared if you have an addict in your life you'll relate to some things she felt. But all and all I expected this to be much better.

I really hoped I'd enjoy this book. Unfortunately I couldn't get past the third chapter. I felt like it was too dry to keep my interest. I usually like reading about true stories but this one just left me struggling to stay focused. I must say it was a big disappointment.

Excellent account of a mother's struggle dealing with her son's addiction.
