This novel is a pageant of wacky but underdeveloped ideas, a selection of creative one-liners poorly connected by a thin thread of plot. Once I was halfway through the disjointed story, I was racing to the end just to be finished with it.
I don't know how this book earned a Nebula Award. It is trashy and uninteresting.
