When Alsie Kelley became pregnant, she & Brian rejoiced. Then came the sonograms which revealed that their baby daughter had problems--perhaps serious ones.
When Stasia was born, she was a beautiful child. And yet she was also handicapped, with no hope of ever being normal. The doctors said she would never walk or talk or sit up or take care of herself in any way.
The Kelleys watched their daughter struggle with seizures & other health crises during the next several years. During that time they struggled too---with faith-threatening doubts and fears. It was during this time that God again and again brought into their lives supernatural signs of his infinite care.
Perhaps no child was ever so handicapped, and perhaps no child was ever so loved. A powerful portrayal of unconditional love; great encouragement for ANYONE undergoing intense suffering and for all who seek purpose and serenity.
This is is a powerful book that does leave you with sadness, but rather hope in your heart.

This is a very touching true story of the value of a human life and how God can use the "little" things of the world in a big way.
