This a hilarious book. Lisa Boyer is an expert quilter. And she's determined to enjoy making quilts. In fact, she will not- absolutely will not-let the risk of making a mistake, or a less-than-perfect quilt, keep her from relishing the task! She brings you back to the pleasure of quilting with her confessions and adventures!

Short, cute little read. This book is tongue in cheek writing by a true quilter, and the story is based completely on quilting terms, supplies, and the like. Offers a quilting tip or two. I am taking this one to my church quilting ladies, where I join in with my crochet hook for the fellowship.

I loved this book. It was a super easy read and kept me laughing. I could relate to many of her stories and made me wish to meet her in an elevator. One to share with you friends for sure.

What a wonderful little book! A quick read but laugh-out-loud funny. Every quilter will be able to relate to Lisa's haps and mishaps, including her husband mistaking her fleur-de-lis pattern for houseflies, becoming farsighted as she aged, and--of course--discovering her "stash" was not up to par with her quilting peers'.
