Great anthology! I have all the Star Drive books and was trying to decide if they were worth keeping (and reading) or not - so I read the anthology first and I am very glad I did! Try it, you will like it.

I think the best stories (out of many that were very very good) were: "Point of Contraction" (HAUNTING story - think "Event Horizon" as a comparable type of movie), "Daybreak" (nicely done tale set on a dying world), "The Great Negotiater" (my personal favorite - even aliens have regrets and experience loss), and "A Killing Light" (a science fiction "who done it" mystery). Other great stories was "He's a Good Little Boy", "The Life and Death of a Sleepwalker", and "Mind over Matter".

It should be noted that all of these tales were worth reading at least once (some I read twice), and most of them were about 30 pages. There is 11 stories in total...so you get a wide variety too. I give this collection 4 stars out of 5!

If you like this review give me a "thumbs up" and check out my other reviews too. I am heavily focused on RPG based literature, so I am reading a lot of the anthologies based on those worlds right now.
