The third installment in the Sisters of the Sun trilogy. This one features Isadora, the oldest Fyne witch. She's Empress Liane's personal witch and friend. Lucan, her soon to be lover, is the prophesied Prince of Swords for the Circle of Bacwyn and he comes to the palace in search of the Star of Bacwyn. He thinks the ring Isadora wears is the Star, but of course, Isadora herself is the Star. Meanwhile, Arik's troops are growing stronger and the sisters are trying to meet so they can break the Fyne curse. Overall, a satisfying ending to the series, but again, I was a bit annoyed with all the romance. The political aspects were much more interesting for me. :)

Third in the Sisters of the Sun series and my second favorite of the three. I really enjoyed seeing Isadora find herself some happiness because she was so glum in the first two books. The entire book was well written, with a strong character presence.

By far the best book of the trilogy. The characters, setting, and plot are all well developed. There was not the distraction of repetition to the extent of the other two books in the series, gratefully. The story line was suspenseful and kept me highly entertained. For a trilogy about witches there wasn't a whole lot of magic going on but LOTS of gratuitous sex!

If you read the the previous 2 books in this trilogy, you will have to have THE STAR WITCH to learn how the curse upon the sisters is broken and how Isabella learns to love again.
Good Book! But get all 3, THE SUN WITCH, THE MOON WITCH, & THE STAR WITCH as the stories are all so connected that to get a full picture, you'll want all 3.

It was a good third book, although it seemed it ended prematurely. Tell me more about the Fyne Wiches!!
