I am a big fan of movie novelizations, and this one is no exception. As frequently happens, the author not only added some much needed bridges and explanations, but also offered a bit of insight into what several of the key characters were thinking. It is a really fast read, and I STRONGLY recommend reading this book as part of a "trilogy-read" with 'Labryinth of Evil' and 'Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader'.

This is one of those cases where the book was written for the movie, but the author added some much needed bridges during some areas where the movie either didn't have time to explain, or just didn't want to. I read this book before episode III came out and it's a good companion to the movie. really fast read, but I recommend reading Labryinth of Evil before reading Revenge of the Sith.

Fantastic Star Wars book if your a Star Wars fan.

I love his style of writing! You get such an understanding of the characters, and so much background story that never appeared in the movies! I never saw Obi-Wan the way that he is described here, or understood all the intimidation that occurred between Anikin and the emporer. But oh, the subtleties that they never even touched upon or mentioned in the movies ....

The book was good, just not what I expected. As expected the novel had more detail than the movie. What I didn't expect, is that the book deals more about what Anakin is thinking and feeling. I was hoping for more detail about what happened to the other Jedi shown in the movie, but they were hardly even mentioned.

Great book, my favorite. Stover delivers a fast-paced Sci-Fi epic that is the turning point for the entire SW saga.
