So interesting! Great info on the art and literary scene in Paris before Hitler arrived. Well written story of the everyday activities of Annette Zelman and her family. As the story began to detail the imprisonment of one of her brothers and then of Annette herself, I had to stop reading. It's a personal decision, nothing to do with the writing. I'm sure other readers will continue and hopefully enjoy the book. I may t ry to finish it at another time.
