Another potboiler set during the era of the Jacobite rebellion in England. This one beginning around the massacre of the Macdonalds at Glencoe. To fill in the tone of the era read John Buchans novels John Burnet of Barns and Midwinter. Also, an historical account of the Campbell-Macdonald feud is available in his non-fiction book The Massacre at Glencoe.
