Kept my interest from the start. Just recomfirmed my beliefs on abortion.
This was a good book. The author spent a lot of time developing the characters and they seemed realistic. It wasn't preachy like many Christian books I've read, though I did find it kind of amusing that the author used "&%*@$" to represent swear words in dialog. It takes a while for the actual plot to begin because of all the character development and build-up, but I still enjoyed the book. The writer is a surgeon and his descriptions of medical procedures are very detailed. Overall, a good read.
"A Chilling Account, because somedy this could be reality"(NY Times)
Matt Stone, fresh off the Missions Medical Field, returns to the States to begin his residency, ending eight years of training to become a Sugeron. Long hours, little pay, and countless hours in the OR was what he thought he'd be taking on. Instead, a sinster plot invovling a Gubernterial Candiate, Layton Redman threatnes to destroy his entire career unless he rushes to stop the "sugeries" being done on the innocent. Very well written, Dr. Kraus has done it once more--a Medical Thriller that will leave you shaken. If you like Medical Fiction, Medical Thrillers, or Christian Fiction, this book is for you!
